The AJU Students’ Association Council had a workshop on Friday 6th January 2023 at St Georges College. The vision of this workshop was to prepare and plan for the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.

The student leaders took time off to look back at the first semester and evaluate the student activities by drawing strength from the successes and learning from the missed opportunities. This reflective evaluation would equip the council to plan and strategize for the second semester which promises to be compact yet very eventful. The workshop also aimed to revitalize the team and rebuild it, especially by welcoming and capacitating the new Chairperson of Sports, Entertainment and Recreation (SERC), Ms. Caitlyn Chikwava.

The student council hopes to go for depth and competence in its mandate of promoting student activities and in re-vitalizing AJU student life. What became clear from the workshop was that the Arrupe Cultural Festival has been the highlight of the first semester and the executive looks forward to the Arrupe Marathon as a highlight of the second semester.
